‘Maison de Castle’ is a piece of “Figumation” - the brand-new format of movie to combine (?) the CG and the puppet show! The easy-going daily life of Patty and four girls are depicted with the “Digital Rod Puppet”*, the new technique developed especially for this piece. *"Digital Rod Puppet” is the special effect technique developed by BLAST Inc. Figures with spherical joints are manipulated by rods and shot against the blue background. Then, the facial expression, the background and any special effects are composited by CG to create any picture you want. Storyline
Patty is a girl living in a condo named “Maison de Castle”. Her hobby is to watch TV, play games and have snacks. Easy-going in nature, Patty always wants to relax lazily, but her friends in the same condo wouldn’t leave her alone. Graceful Mia. Cheerful Riki. Lillian is a little older and prim. A little younger Alex is a cheeky girl. When these five girls get together, a day which was supposed to peaceful somehow turns into turmoil. What is going to happen today????

Let’s make chocolate for the Valentine’s Day by yourself! Yet, Patty and Alex are among the clumsiest in the human history! The story develops into a catastrophe involving all neighbors! Can they make the chocolate successfully? The book Alex found by accident in the closet was, believe or not, the Magic Encyclopedia!? Using the magical spell written in the book, Alex transforms herself into an invisible girl. What is the nasty prank the invisible girl plays? Patty cannot finish the homework she detests. “God, I don’t wanna do homework!” Having an empty skull, Patty comes up with a really stupid game plan…. Patty is concerned with her somewhat round belly and decides to go on a diet! But she doesn’t want to control her desire! Patty tries easy diet plans with no effort necessary one after another! Riki, the combat athlete, fights head-on against the black one, the most horrible creature on earth! Who is the black creature? Riki rises up to save the residents of Maison de Castle! Patty was bullying Lillian!? Can’t believe Patty used to be a bully! Riki, with a strong sense of justice, takes action to find out the truth but…? Despite her wish to be a romance novelist, Mia has never kissed in her life and can’t describe a kissing scene. After a series of interview with the residents of Maison de Castle, the kiss of an unexpected girl comes into light!? Something is wrong with Riki. Or more precisely put, she is acting suspiciously. A strange incident at Maison de Castle which is constantly covered with steam from hot bath! What is on Riki’s mind? What happened? And what is behind the incident? Oh my god! Mia has caught a cold! The residents of Maison de Castle are rushing to comfort her one after another! Whose offer can really cure Mia’s cold? Maison de Castle Pastry Chef Championship has finally begun!! Lillian is trying to recapture the championship from the cake-baking queen, Mia! Pastry chef duel without a code! Who is the queen pastry chef of the new era!?
